Stars, Black Holes, and Planets are just some of the universal wonders of which little are known.  Stars are masses of which can be the size of the earth, the size of the sun, or even 1000 times bigger or smaller than the earth or sun.  They can be composed of rock, ice, gas, or dust.  Black Holes are the remains of a star that imploded rather than exploded at the time of its death.  Last is the planets of which orbit our solar system around our sun.

 

 

The Black Hole is and extremely wondrous thing in the known universe.  It is the formed after an extremely large star dies due to implosion.  At that point it shrinks to the size of a pea and at that point starts its rampage.  The Black hole will remain forever.  It will destroy anything in its path and just keeps going killing one solar system after another.

 

 

Stars are the spectacular forms we see every night in the sky.  They are huge and can be 1000s of times bigger than our sun.  They are made of rock, gas, and ice usually.  Another amazing thing about them is that they are hundreds of light years away from us.  This means if a star dies we won’t see it for years later.

 

  The sun is our solar systems very own star.  Its gas makeup consists of ¾ hydrogen and ¼ helium.  On the sun the temperatures’ soar to 9900 degrees and the core is 27000000 degrees.  The sun is 1.3 million times bigger than our earth and 333420 times heavier.  Due to that the solar system revolves around it.

 

 

Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, is also home to a great storm known as the Great Red Spot.  It is also twice as heavy as all the other planets put together.  It also spins at an extremely high rate of speed, once in only 10 hours.  Its chemical makeup consists of hydrogen and helium gas.

 

 

Mars is known as the great red planet.  The red look is caused due to red dust scattered throughout the planet.  The dust is made of iron oxides which we call rust.  Mars also has the largest mountain at 15 miles high.  On mars the temperatures can drop as low as 200 degrees below zero at times.
