Tricks A lot of vert tricks are mainly the same as street, but the skater performs these tricks on a ramp, curb, rails, and piples. These tricks tend to be a little harder the objects are not small and not easy to menuver on. |
Things to perform tricks on Vert skaters perform their tricks on curbs, railings, ramps, and pipes. To do this one must be capable of good balalnce to hold the trick. Another important key is confidence, without it you will fail. While these objects tend to be more harder to perform a trick on, with confidence and experience it can be done. |

Origin There is no definitive origin or inventor of the skateboard meant for vert purposes. One has proposed that an origin of skating is that skateboards arose in the 1940’s and 1950’s. another suggests that a skateboard was created from the adaptation of a single rollerskate taken apart and nailed to a 2X4. |
Future of vert skating I see the future of vert skateboarding in the next 20-30 years as being right behind street. Some people prefer street over vert, but others do not. Its inexplainable which style will be ahead in the next 2-3 decades, but I highly doubt that the style of vert will “fall out”. Vert Skating. |
