Some of the best players in the game were from the past. One of the all time greatest quarterback of the 50s era was Bobby Lane. He was known for his great zone passing. Also, he was know for his despising of losing anything in life. Also, The great Johnny Untitas, who is still considered the best player in history, was known for being a tough quarterback of the 60s era. He was on the Steelers but stupidly, we cut him. He was known for playing for the Baltimore rams. Overall, Bobby Lane and Johnny Unitas are considered the two best quarterbacks of all time are Johnny Unitas and Bobby Lane.

Also, a couple of the best and toughest players are Linebackers. A couple of the gretest Linebackers is Dick Butkis and Lawrence Taylor. In this picture of Dick Butkis he is diving over the line of scrimmage to make a tackle. Also, he went to Pitt and coached a local high school football team. Lawrence Taylor was a kind of newer Linebacker from the 90s. He was known for rushing the quarterback virtually every play and nobody could block him. These are a few of the best backers of all time.

My favorite team in the NFL is the Pittsburgh Steelers. A few good players for the Steelers are Mean Joe Green and Terry Bradshaw. Mean Joe Green was the defensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 70s era. He was also in a coke. Terry Bradshaw was the quarterback for the Steelers in the 70s. He was known for the longball throwing skill he had. Overall, I think the Steelers are definitely the best team overall through the years.

Franco Harris was the running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1970s. He was a fast, agile, Running back. He could also flat out bull people who got in his way. His is known for the immaculate reception. The immaculate reception was when terry Bradshaw threw a pass to a Wide Receiver in a playoff game against the Oak Land Raiders. The ball was tipped and Franco Harris caught it and scored a touchdown to win the playoff game with no time left. He was absolutely amazing at running the ball.

		A few not as old Running backs in the NFL a Curtis Martin and Barry Sanders. Barry Sanders was the Running back for the Detroit Lions in the 1990s. In 1999, he walked away from the game forever. Anyway, he was so fast, agile, and shifty, that he was rarely caught from behind. He could also change direction in a split second. In his whole career, he had a total of 15,269 yards. Curtis Martin was the beginning of a new era of running back. He played on the Jets. He was known for running the ball over and over again. Over his whole career, he never didn’t have a 1000 rushing yards year. He has the record for the most record with 1697 yards. Overall, the Running back era seems that it is here to stat for a while.
