Henry”Hank” Aaron was born on February 5, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama.  He played for the Milwaukee Braves/Atlanta Braves from 1954-1974.  Then he played on the Brewers from 1975-1976.  His records are most RBIs(2297), most extra base hits(1477), and most total bases on hits(6856).  He was the NL MVP in 1957, NL Player of the Year in 1956 and 1963, Gold Glove in 1958-1960, and was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1982.

 

 

Tony Gwynn was born on May 9, 1960, in Los Angeles, California.  He went to Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and then to San Diego University.  He played his entire career with the San Diego Padres from 1982-2004.  In that span he won 5 gold gloves and 7 batting titles, the third most ever.  He was also drafted by the Clippers to play pro basketball.

 

 

Rogers Hornsby was born onApril 27, 1896, in Winters, Texas.  He died on January 6, 1963.  He played for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1915-1926 and 1933, the New York Giants in 1927, Boston Braves in 1928, the Cubs from 1929-1932, and the St. Louis Browns from1933-1937.  /his records are highest batting average in season(.424), highest batting average in a career in the NL(.359), and highest slugging percentage career in the NL(.578).  Rogers won the Triple Crown in 1922 and 1925.  He was NL MVP in 1925 and 1929, and was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1942.

 

 

Stan Musial was born on November 21, 1920, in Donora, Pennsylvania.  He played with the St. Louis from 1941-1944 then from 1946-1963.  His first three years he was a pitcher, then got hurt which caused him to miss a year.  He was NL MVP in 1943, 1946, 1948, NL Player of the Year in 1943, 1946, 1948, 1951, 1957, Major League Player of the Decade in 1956, and was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1969.
