The Pittsburgh Steelers are tied with the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys for most super bowl rings with five. During the 70’s the Steelers were a dynasty winning 4 super bowls while Chuck Noll was the coach. Some of the dynamic players during that era were Jack Lambert, Joe Greene, Franco Harris, Terry Bradshaw, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, etc. The Steelers won the super bowl in 1974, 1975, 1978, 1979, and 2005.  They are a great football team and always have been. They are a very tough team known for their running game and defense. The Steelers are owned by Dan Rooney who is son of Art Rooney, a former owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bill Cowher coached the Steelers from 1992 until 2006, but now Mike Tomlin has taken over in the 2007 season. Tomlin has big shoes to fill in his first season. Tomlin is a coach and will do well with talent he has on team.
