Skateboarding there are all different boards to get. If you want to have a light board. Then you should get a 7 ply skateboard. If you want a heavy board then you should get a 9 ply Board. I recommend a 7 ply skateboard they are lighter and flexible to do tricks. The good boards are made of a maple tree. There is something called a concave that makes doing tricks easier. The bigger the concave the easier it is to do tricks. When they make the board they put small thin sheets of wood together and glue them together. Then they drill four holes in the board.

In skateboarding there are things called Trucks they are attached to the board. They are what holds the board together. They help you turn. You can grind things with them. They come in all different shapes and sizes and colors. You can get any type of trucks they will cost a lot if you get very good trucks. I recommend a light pair of aluminum trucks.

There are things called wheels on a skateboard they make the skateboard move. They come in all different colors and sizes. They vary from 50 mm wheels to 60 mm wheels. There are all different brands. If you want good ones they will cost a lot. If you want cheap ones they will be cheap.

On a skateboard there are things called bearings they go in side of the wheel and inside the truck. There are all different brands. The smallest there is ABEC 3 bearings. Then there is ABEC 5 bearings. Then there is ABEC 7 bearings. ABEC 7 bearings are the fastest.

The grip tape is a long piece of sandpaper that goes on the top of the board. The grip tape makes your feet stick to the board better to make tricks easier. There is all different types of grip tape.

The risers go in between the board   and the trucks. There are different sizes. The smaller you get them the lower the board will go. If you don’t want to turn that fast and that quick   then get thin risers. If you want to turn and go quick then you should get thick risers.
