Swimming was fun for me through out I was like three. When people discovered water the Greek Olympics had professional swimmers and then it originated to different countries. Swimming is a great sport. There are lots of things to do with swimming. One of them would be swimming in the summer on a hot day or I don’t know jumping and splashing. Swimming is also very healthy. It keeps you fit and you also have fun doing it. When you go to swim meets you wait until your number is called and your swimming technique.  Swimmers shave off body hair I know it gross for guys, just prior to major competitions. It includes all body hair including their head. The reason for this is to lower the very slight drag effect on the swimmer's speed. Even though the physiological effect of this may be slight, the psychological effect of the feeling can be considerable. This practice may be limited now that full body suits are often used. The United States can send only a limited number of divers to the 2008 Olympic Games, but the U.S. has a wealth of talent and these divers will battle over the next six months for the right to participate in the grandest spectacle in international sports. With the 2008 Olympic Team Trials in Omaha, Neb., less than a year away, America’s top swimmers have begun preparing for what could be the biggest and most important meet of their careers.
