Drills are the
basic exercises of swimming. All the professional swimmers practice with
drills. You can do 25 yard dash 50 dash 75 and 100 dash. Usually all
high school pools reach about 25 yards and that makes up the 25 yard
dash. As swimmers start to tire, each stroke may become less effective.
To compensate for this, they will often increase the frequency of the
stroke rate, without increasing overall swimming speed. If you stretch
you will be flexible enough. Lets say you do drills and you do 10 50’s 5
100’s that’s hard but if you like swimming you will be good at it.
