The Steelers offense has always been a team that ran the football to set up the pass. The super bowl team outscored there opponents 389 to 258. The Pittsburgh Defense has been one of the best year in and year out in the NFL. They are also the toughest and one of the most physical teams. The Steelers defense had a total of 37 turnovers in the year of 2005. The leaders of there defense are hard hitting linebackers James Farrior and Joey Porter. And they have a really fast strong safety Troy Polumalu. And they got the All Pro defensive nose guard Casey Hampton.
