In Costa Rica there are a lot of different animals to see. The rainforest is full of them!! You see animals in the trees, on the ground, and even in the ground. The animals you see there are nothing like the wild animals we have here. They are more like the animals you would go to the zoo and see.

            These pictures of  lizards and frog some of the many reptiles you will you in Costa Rica! When your in Costa Rica you are no supposed to pick up reptiles like toads, frog, snakes, or any lizards. They say that these animals carry different diseases that could get you very sick.

         This picture on the left is of a howler monkey. The howler monkey is the most common to see in Costa Rica. These monkeys make a loud howling noise. That is why they are called howler monkeys. So if a howler monkey is near you, you will definitely hear it! You don’t just see these monkeys in the rainforest. They are all over Costa Rica. Though this is the most common monkey. It is not he only type of monkeys you will see. When your in the rainforest you will see many groups of different monkeys all through the tall trees.

         There are lots of different types and species of birds in Costa Rica. There also many types of colorful parrots. This is just one of the very many of them. You may also see macaws and toucans.
