M.A.C. is one of the few makeup companies that is not available at a drug store. You can buy M.A.C. products at the M.A.C. counter at Macys. M.A.C. established a AIDS fund in 1994. 100% of their Viva Glam Lipsticks and Lip gloss proceeds goes to their AIDS fund. M.A.C. makeup is used for movies, music tours, Broadway plays, and TV shows.

That was the beginning of Maybelline cosmetics company. in 1917 they launched their first product, mascara. They only sold it exclusively through the mail. IN the 30''s they expanded to eye shadow and eyebrow pencils. in 1969 they started their first manufacturing/distribution facility in Memphis. In the 70''s they added additional categories (face, lip, and nail products). in 71 Great Last Mascara made history and is now the number one selling mascara. A tube of Great Last Mascara is sold a estimated every 1.5 seconds. Now Maybelline New York is they number one cosmetic brand globally and is available in over 90 countries. Mayblline also has over 2,000 workers. They have come really far from what they started out as! |
