Stretching is very important. If you don't stretch you can get really hurt. For example if you’re doing your back- handspring and you didn't stretch your arms or your back, your arms can give out and that's just because you didn't stretch. One proper stretch is the one you see on your left. A basic stretch like this makes your heart beat faster, increase your breathing rate, loosen your joints and muscles, and make you more flexible.

| Doing a straddle split stretches the muscles in your legs. It usually takes a long time for you to be able to do your straddle split or any kind of split. The other kinds of splits are a right hand split and a left hand split. The only difference is what leg you put in front. The stretch is the arch. That warms up your stomach muscles and your leg muscles. That stretch is very important for any kind of tumbling trick you want to do. The opposite of the arch is the dish. (the picture below) This has the same idea as the arch but it is just flipped. While you are doing this you have to remember that you are a dish and if you let go you will drop all the food that you were carrying. | |

Doing a handstand is a
lot harder than it looks. It takes a lot of balance. It is
important that your hand, arm, and stomach muscles are strong or
otherwise get hurt and possibly get hurt. There are many
times when doing your handstand you fall and most of the time it never
hurts.
It is very important to have a spotter if there is a trick you can't do. As you see on the pictures on the left and the right, the girl couldn't do a trick so she asked for help. Down below are more stretches. |
