VERA WANG:

Vera Wang started designing because she was planning her wedding, but couldn’t find a dress she liked so she decided to design one herself. She opened her first salon at Carlyle hotel in New York City in 1990. She showcased her bridal collection there. She has expanded her designs since then. She now designs footwear, fragrances, and eyewear.

MARC JACOBS:

Marc Jacobs launched his first line in 1986. Then in 2001 he debuted another collection called marc by marc Jacobs. He also designs bags and shoes. His line is for both men and women. His style of his clothing and bags consist of bright colors, oversized prints, rugby stripes, and big bows and buttons.

CHANEL:

Chanel was founded in 1909 by coco (Gabrielle) Chanel. Today Chanel is a very well known fashion brand. Chanel sells pretty much everything, clothing purses, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and fragrances. The look they go for at Chanel is cute, smart, and classy.

DIESEL:

Diesel was founded in Italy in 1978. It is known for their jeans. They use military fabrics such as leathers, denims, and canvas. They use these materials because they go well with a eye catching detail which is what diesel likes their clothing to look like.

RALPH LAUREN:

Ralph Lauren started the brand in 1968. it started when he created a polo-shirt to represent the spirit or America aristocracy. Then he expanded his designs from polo’s to women’s wear, formal wear, and a bigger selection or sports wear. In the late 1980’s he started designing home decor. Their style of clothing is preppy and school style.

DOLCE AND GABANA:

Dolce and Gabana started their brand in Milan in 1980. Dolce worked for his family’s clothing factory. Gabana was a graphic designer who also grew up in Milan. They automatically got along so they went into business together. Two years later they began to sell beach wear, two clothing lines, and sell all types of accessories.
