All The old semi-basic computer hardware was severely UN advanced and easily accessible to hackers. But those were the original electronic computers. The first ever type of computers consisted of various tubes and gears. The computers were enormous! They used very great amounts of electricity to run, well certain ones at least. They were improved over time to electronically run computers. But yet still they were inefficient and were as I said be for easily accessible to hackers. |

The first ever true computer was named the Analytical engine. It wasn’t completed for it was so complex that the creator of it “ Charles Babbage” died before it was completed. The making of the Analytical engine ended in the year of 1910. If completed it would have consisted of around twenty-five thousand parts! Also if it was completed it would have weighed up to three tons! All the parts were made of brass. The brass parts were mainly just tubes, gears and many various items.

Another early UN advanced computer was the ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator Analyzer and Computer). It was completed between 1943 and 1945. The ENIAC performed 5,000 additions in a second! Although it could perform that the process to set it up took two days. It was $500,000; it weighed 30 tons, and was 100 feet long and 8 feet high! It contained 1,500 relays and 17,468 vacuum tubes! The tubes would be considered the ENIAC’s Achilles heel. They consumed up to 200 kilowatts of electricity each hour! So mainly the tubes in the ENIAC made it an oven, and it broke down constantly. The ENIAC was the first true computer but it needed something that did what the tubes did. But without the heat bulk and wouldn’t break so easily.

Another early computer that didn’t have many modern advances was the Jacquard Loom. It was created in 1804 by Joseph-Marie Jacquard. The Jacquard Loom was a weaving loom. It used series of punched cards that controlled what patterns were woven into a fabric. Different cards resolved in different patterns. Joseph-Marie Jacquard’s invention followed the birth of modern computer programming

The first word processor program was called the word star. It was a
DOS-based text program. It had notorious for shortcut keys. As well as
visible codes, and hidden tricks. It was able to be modified very
easily. In other words easily accessible to hackers. Also, windows 1 it
was the first product made by Microsoft. It was introduced in 1985. It
was the first graphic interface that let you make selections using a
mouse. The first graphic interface that had menu bars. As well as the
fact that it was the first program that could run more than one program
at once. It was slow and used a lot of memory but it was the true first
graphic interface program. The apple introduced something in 1976
before windows one. It was an immediate hit sale wise. Mostly because it
used a program called VisiCalc, witch did math of an electronic ledger
sheet. That justified the computer as a business cost. In other words,
it was used in computer businesses. Lastly the OS/2 it began in 1983 as
a joint project between Microsoft and IBM for high-end computers. In
other words it was as advanced as it could get. Also the Os/2 competed
in the same market as windows. Lastly, for the first time in history in
1983 a computer company other than IBM carried the standard to witch
other developers conformed.
