You might know him as "Mean Joe", but Joe Greene was one of the best ever to play defensive tackle.  "Mean Joe" went to North Texas State and was picked 4th overall in the 1969 NFL draft.  He has been to ten Pro Bowls and is a four time Super Bowl winner.  He is a part of the NFL Hall of Fame.

 

Many people know Franco Harris for the immaculate reception in the playoff game that got them to the Super Bowl.  Harris went to Penn State and was picked13th in the1972 NFL draft.  He has been to the Pro Bowl nine times and was the Super Bowl IX MVP.  Franco Harris scored one hundred touchdowns in his career. 

   
 

John Stallworth was picked 82nd overall in the 1974 draft.  He went to Alabama A & M for college.  He went to three Pro Bowls and was awarded the comeback player of the year in 1984.  He suffered many injuries which made him miss a total of 44 regular season games.

 

Jack Lambert went to Kent State and was drafted 46th in 1974.  He Played middle linebacker.  He has been to nine Pro Bowls in a row (1976-1984).  Ha was the 1976 defensive played of the year.  Lambert also played QB in college and in high school.  Jack Lambert is a great part of the NFL Hall of Fame.

  
 

Jerome Bettis was picked 10th overall draft by the Los Angeles Rams.  Bettis played for the rams in 1993-1995 but then went to the Steelers for nine years.  Bettis rushed for 13,662 yards during his career and had 94 touchdowns.  He had been to Pro Bowls six times.  Jerome Bettis went to Notre Dame.  His mom didnt even want him to play football. She wanted him to bowl!

 

Terry Bradshaw was the 1st overall pick of the 1970 NFL draft.  He went to to Louisiana Tech for college.  He went to 3 Pro Bowls, has gotten him voted Super Bowl MVP twice, and has gotten the Bert Bell award.
