The most important thing you will need in skateboarding is the deck. The deck is the part of the skateboard that you stand on. There are three different kinds of good decks you can buy, regular, helium, and fiber light. Regular decks are what most companies make. They can either be very good or very bad this mainly depends on the companies and the price, an average deck will cost you around 20-30$ a good one is more like 50-60$. Helium decks are very light and pretty strong what the companies do to them is put little helium bubbles inside the deck to make is lighter these usually cost  60-70 dollars. The last kind of deck is fiber light these are thinner than normal boards, very light and very strong. They are made of a very light material that is also very strong these are probably the best decks you can buy they cost around 70-90$.
	Truck are another very important part of skateboarding. What they do is hold the wheels onto the board, make you able to turn, and give you a solid place to grind. they are made of metal and rubber the main part is metal and a little space up top is made of rubber to help you turn. they can be made out of many different metals but the main to are aluminum and titanium. Titanium trucks are strong but very heavy and hard to do things with. Aluminum trucks are strong and light so they are the best trucks to have. Trucks cost anywhere from 30-90$.
		Wheals are simply the wheels that the skateboard rolls on. You can get wheals with ridges or no ridges. Ridges on the wheels don't really make a difference but they are better on roads. Wheals with no ridges are more skate parks than street skating. Wheels come in two main sizes 50mm or 52mm, the size you use is basically depends on your preference. Wheels can cost anywhere from 10-50$.
	Bearings are the things that spin the wheels. There really aren't many things to say about bearings but they do come in different speeds. There are two different kinds of bearings Swiss and regular . Regular bearings are bearings that are less expensive than Swiss and come in different speeds. Swiss bearings are very expensive but have a very smooth spin and are much faster than normal bearings. Bearings cost any where from 5-60$.
		Another thing that will help you when skating are the right kind of skate shoes. You want the shoes specially made for skateboarding and to have some grip. Some of the most popular skate shoes actually are very bad for skateboarding. The most popular but probably the worst kind of shoe are "Etnies". Some better skate shoes are Audios, Globe,and DC. Skate shoes cost about 50-150+$
