The first movie came out on November 16, 2001.  It included director Chris Columbus and screenplay writer Steve Kloves.  Daniel Radcliffe took on Harry Potter, Rupert Grint went with Ron Weasley, and Emma Watson pursued. Hermione Granger.  Last was Richard Harris who played Albus Dumbledore.

The next movie came out on November 15, 2002.  Chris Columbus stayed for another movie.  While, Jason Isaacs and Kenneth Branagh were added to the cast as Lucius Malfoy and Gilderoy Lockhart.

The third movie came out on June 4, 2004.  There was a new director named Alfonse Cuaron.  Gary Oldman and David Thewlis joined the cast as Sirius Black and Remus Lupin.

The fourth movie came out on November 18, 2005.  Mike Newell became the director.  Robert Pattinson, Stanislav Ianevski, Katie Leung, and Clemence Poesy join the cast as students to the wizard schools.  Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes join as Mad-Eye Moody and Lord Voldemort.

 The fifth and latest movie came out on July 11, 2007.  The new director is David Yates and the new screenplay writer is Michael Goldenberg.  Imelda Stauton and Helena Bonham Carter join the cast as Dolores Umbridge and Bellatrix Lestrange.  Evanna Lynch also came as Luna Lovegood.

David Heyman has been  the producer for every movie so far.

 Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson have grown-up on set together since they were just kids.  Harry Potter has been in there lives almost seven or eight years.

Daniel Radcliffe plays Harry Potter.  His birthday is on July 23, 1989.  Daniel has been in a couple other productions.

Emma Watson plays Hermione Granger.  Her birthday is on April 15, 1990. Emma was a new comer to the acting business.

Rupert Grint plays Ron Weasley.  His birthday is on August 24, 1988.  Rupert has been in one other movie called “Thunderpants”.
