The Wonderful World of Harry Potter

 

 

 

 

In the first book, Harry Potter finds out who he really is, a wizard.  He goes to a wizardry school and starts to learn of this other world.  He plays Quidditch  a sport played on brooms.  Harry learns what really happened to his parents and more.  It is a great adventure.

 

 

 In the second book, Harry knows a little more about his world.  He gets a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and meets a creature named Dobby.  There also is a lot of mayhem with the Chamber of Secrets.

 

 

 In the third book, Harry learns more about his past.  He gets a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.  He also encounters dementors and a hippogriff.  Harry also meets a new teacher named Professor Trelawney, who teaches divinations.

 

 

The fourth book  is an exciting story.  Harry participates in the Triwizard Tournament, Where he must perform three tasks.  He also gets another new teacher, Mad-Eye Moody.  In the end Lord Voldemort returns and kills Harry’s new friend Cedric Diggory.  Everything changes then.

 

 

In the fifth book, Harry learns about a secret organization that is against Voldemort called, the Order of the Phoenix. Harry gets a new teacher , who is evil, called Professor Umbridge. So, Harry, Ron, and Hermione form a group called, Dumbledore’s Army.  Harry and his friends go to the Department of Mysteries and fight Death Eaters.  The Order comes and Sirius, Harry’s godfather, dies.

 

 

 In the sixth book, Dumbledore shows Harry memories about the young Voldemort.  He is trying to help Harry when he must kill Voldemort.  In the end, Dumbledore takes Harry to a cave, where they will destroy a Horcrux.  This keeps Voldemort alive.  Dumbledore is then killed by Snape when they return.

 

 

The seventh book is the last installment of the story of Harry Potter.

 

 

J.K. Rowling is the author of the Harry Potter series.  She had a tough life, but in the end everything worked out.  J.K. Rowling is now one of the richest people.  She is even worth more than the Queen of England.
