Baseball started to develop in the mid 1800’s. It originated in North America. It began from stickball. Today the professional baseball league is the MLB. There are two leagues in the MLB National and the American league. When playing baseball there is batting and fielding. The point of batting is to get hits and score as many runs as possible. The reason of fielding is to stop the other team from scoring runs.
