Ben Roethlisberger 7# QB Ben Roethlisberger was born on March 2nd, 1982. At his high school Ben played wide receiver for three years, he didn’t play quarterback till his senior year. He set records for passing yardage, and passing touchdowns. He attended Miami of Ohio and played for the Red Hawks. In his final year at Miami of Ohio, Ben led the Red-Hawks to them Mid-American Conference Championship. Ben was selected 11th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers, at the 2004 NFL Draft. In his rookie year, Roethlisberger led the Steelers to a 15-1 record, only to lose in AFC Championship game to the eventual Super Bowl champs, the New England Patriots. In his second year Ben and the Steelers won Super Bowl 40 in Detroit, beating the Seattle Seahawks 21-10. Following a rough third year, Ben is Primed and ready for a great fourth year as a Pittsburgh Steeler. In his career Ben has played 41 game, thrown for 8,519 yards, 52 touchdowns, and 43 interceptions.
