| Equipment includes bindings, skis, boots and poles and goggles. Bindings are screwed into skis and hold the boots in place. Ski boots should feel moderately tight on your feet if they aren't you can be seriously hurt. Make sure the company you buy from make the equipment you need. Here's an example if you buy shape ski's and plan to go off jumps your going fall a lot more because you need twin tips. | Companies are the groups of people you buy your gear from and it can sometimes be a big difference what companies you buy from. Banff, Canada is another great ski resort except for the fact it's so far away. Lake Tahoe is an amazing resort that I've been to and it's located in Utah. Here are a few west coast ski resorts. Seven Springs is a great resort because of it super pipes and reasonable lodging restaurants. Wisp is another great resort that can help you learn how to grind because of it's mediocre rails. Hidden Valley is a resort that has been bought by some new owners and that could mean a new resort. Squaw Valley is a ski resort known for a lot of powder. |
My favorite trick is called a flare. A flare is a back-flip 180. A few other tricks that are not as hard are listed below. The helicopter is a trick in which your feet are together and you do a 360 spin. The Spread Eagle is a trick in which you outstretch your body and do a practical yoga maneuver in the air. One of the hardest tricks is the front-flip because of the momentum pulling you back. The backscratcher is a trick in which you scratch your back with the skis. The daffy is when you do a split in the air. |
