Rock music can be considered the best type of music by ,many people. There are many types of rock music. To name a few types there is punk rock, classic rock, metal, and alternative rock. they usually all consist of a bass player, a drummer, a singer, and a guitar player.

A lot of people like classic rock. Classic rock is from about the 80's or around it. Many well known bands like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Aerosmith are considered classic rock. Some classic rock bands still play today and there are some bands trying to bring back the sound of classic rock but not many. People still listen to classic rock today but not as many.

Metal may not be as popular as other types but is still well known. Metal has more guitar playing in it than the other types. Sometimes the singer screams in it. Some metal bands are Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, and Korn that play metal. Metal used to be more popular but now it is not that popular.

Another well known type of music is punk rock. Punk rock is a more laid back fun type of music. They usually have good concerts and jump around a lot in them. Some well known bands are Green Day, Blink 182, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, and The Ramones. Punk rock grew in interest in the last few years and is one of the best known types.
