Alex Rodriguez is one of the games most recognized star. So far this season he has an MLB leading 52 homeruns and 145 RBI's. This year he is hitting over .310. In his career ha has won 2 MVP awards and is on pace to win his 3rd.

 

 

 

Derek Jeter is a twelve year vet in the majors. He has been dubbed Mr. October by New York Yankee fans. He has four World Series rings to his credit. He won the 1996 Rookie of the Year Award and the 2000 World Series MVP.

 

 

 

Chipper Jones is a 13 year vet in the majors. He has 383 career home runs and is a career .306 hitter. He won the 1996 NL MVP.

 

 

 

Vladimir Guererro is a eleven year vet and currently plays for the Los Angles Angels of Anaheim. This year he has 25 home runs and 120 RBI's. He won the 2004 AL MVP.

 

 

 

Ichiro made his presence felt as soon as he stepped onto the seen as a rookie in 2000. He was the 2000 Rookie of the year and AL MVP. He has won eight straight gloves and has been elected to eight straight all-star games. This year he is has a .356 batting average and 70 RBI’s.

 

 

      Johan Santana is one of the rising stars in the game today. He has all ready won two Cy Young's in his six year career. So far this season he has a 15-12 record and 3.12 ERA.

 

       Diaske Matsuzaka was picked up by the Red Sox before spring training from Japan. He shows great promise in the majors so far. So far this season he has 14-12 record and 4.41 ERA.

 

 

 

Albert Puljols is a six year vet in the majors. He was the 2001 Rookie of the Year and the 2005 MVP. He also has a World Series championship in 2006.

  

 

 

Ryan Howard is a young star in the league. He was two home runs shy of the NL record for left handed batter. So far this season he has 32 home runs. Last year won the NL MVP award.

  

 

 

          Jose Reyes is one of those young electrifying stars in the league. Last year he won the NL silver slugger award. So far this season he has 79 stolen bases.

 

 

Ken Griffey Jr. has been in the league a long time. He has played for the Seattle Mariners and the Cincinnati Reds. To his credit he is on his to the 600 home run club.

  

 

 

             

 

    David Ortiz a.k.a. "Big Papi" has been known as one of the most clutch hitters in the league. He has won a World Series title and MVP. So far this season he has 33 home runs.
