Aside from the ball, cleats are probably one of the most impotant pieces of the game.  Without cleats, you wouldn’t be able to get the traction you need or you may not be able to sprint.  Cleats are also the most expensive thing in soccer, ranging from as cheap as 10 dollars, to as expensive as 400 dollars.

Shin guards are your only kind of protection, when playing soccer.  They vary in size but are always made to fit the players shin, but they must be at least 2 inches in size or you cannot play.  You can also wear ankle guards, but they act as more of a support and not as protective as shin guards.

The soccer ball is the most important part of soccer.  Without a ball you can’t play at all.  There are tons of different soccer balls and so many different types.  Usually if the ball is lighter it is easier to get off the ground, and when it’s heavier it is much harder to get into the air.

Gloves are very important in soccer, for they can either protect the goalies hands, or they can help keep a player’s hands warm.  They can vary from being big, puffy, and comfortable gloves to protect, or thin, black ones to keep you warm.  Goalie gloves help to keep grip on the ball, too.  The durability of the gloves helps to last longer.  The better grip and durability of the, gloves the more expensive.
