Figure skating is a combination of art and being athletic. Skaters perform routines or programs that are graded by the difficulty of the trick. Many skaters dream of going to the winter Olympics but it takes allot of practice. First, they have to compete and win a medal in a series of competitions. Then from there they would go to  the national championships and soon their dreams will come true!
