Grooming Pugs

Pugs need a daily grooming, to keep them as clean as possible. Pugs need to have their coat clean and brushed to remove dead hairs. Their wrinkles also need daily cleaning or skin fold dermatitis will occur. After it is cleaned, the coat must be dried to prevent skin infections. Pugs need a bath once in a while and after bathing them, wrapping then in a towel and drying them off is what a pug likes. This daily cleaning helps pugs prevent fleas, ticks, and diseases. This helps a pug stay clean as possible.

Daily Feeding

Pugs should be fed 4 times a day if they are a puppy and less if they are an adult pug. When pugs are puppies, they need to keep eating, so they can gain weight. On the other hand and adult pug has to eat smaller portions to watch its weight. Pug puppies and adult pugs both eat meat products or fresh raw meat. Pugs should be fed daily so they can grow healthy and strong.

Health and Exercise

Pugs don’t need a lot of exercising. A walk or a good run is good for everyday, 2 miles is enough for a pug. A pug can’t stay outside to long if it is very hot outside, so the best times to exercise them is morning, late afternoon, and cool evening. When it is cold weather, exercise is important in a Pug’s life.
