Daily Feeding Beagles need to be fed twice a day. 1 to 1 ½ cups of dog food should be fed to a beagle twice a day. The type of dog food should be a meat product, such as Eukanuba. Treats are also good between meals or as a reward. Feeding a beagle this food helps them grow strong and healthy.

Hunters followed these dogs, and back then beagles were so small that it could fit in a hunter's pocket. This ancient breed hunted in different countries, such as Scandinavia. By the 1800s, Beagles came in different sizes, and measured about 9 inches. Beagles became America's favorite and a favorite family pet. |
