Reese Witherspoon (born as Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon) was born on March 22, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at Southern Baptist Hospital. In her first years of life, Reese lived in Wisembodem Germany, where her father was a lutenant. After this, the family moved to Nashville.

On Reese’s 21^st birthday, she met Ryan Phillippe. He was not really sure whether or not he was supposed to go to her birthday party or not, but he went anyway because of the free beer. After that, they talked to each other between mail and phone calls.

While vacationing in South Carolina Ryan Phillippe proposed to Reese at the Planter’s Inn in December of 1998. The couple then got married on June 25, 1999, at the Wide Awake Plantation near Charleston, South Carolina. Ryan and Reese ended having two children: Ava (born on September 9, 1999), and Deacon (born on October 23, 2003).

Reese was introduced to the entertainment industry at a very early age. At age 7, she started modeling. This led to appearances on several local television commercials. When she was 11 years old, she got first place in a Ten-State Talent Fair.

The couple was happily married for 7 years until they recently ran into some problems. Reese and Ryan tried marriage counseling several times but there was no luck. They announced a separation in October of 2006, and then a divorce in November of 2006.

            Then just recently in 2007, right after Witherspoon and Phillippe’s divorce, Reese dated actor Jake Gyllenhall. The couple tried to stay out of the spotlight, but were recently seen dining together with two other couples at L.A.’s Il Sole. Some observers from PEOPLE Magazine say that Witherspoon and Gyllenhall have been spending more time together. He has even met up with her, Ava, and Deacon (Reese’s kids) in New York City.

            Reese Witherspoon just recently sued Star Magazine for saying that she was pregnant with her third child. She got really upset when people started saying that she was pregnant, so she decided just to start suing anybody that spread that rumor to the public.
