Roy Williams has 18 years at Carolina winning just one NCAA title in 2005. Having 42 wins and 17 loses in the tournament. The tar heels expectations are high, are there is no letting up for them. North Carolina always being in the top 25 team, and is number 1 in the ACC conference, so far in the 06-07 season. The Tar heels always have an outstanding basketball team.

The Duke Blue Devils
lead by Coach Mike Krzyzewski has a current streak of nine consecutive
sweet 16 appearances is second all time to North Carolina 13, but
extending that streak figures to be difficult. Coach K has been with the
blue and white for 26 years taking his team to 3 NCAA titles in
1991.1992 and 2001. Overall in NCAA tournament winning 68 games and
losing 19 games. 680 total victories and 267 of them are ACC wins. He
and the Blue Devils has been a fixture on the national basketball scene
with 11 consecutive NCAA tournaments berths from 1984-94 and 22 in the
last 23 years.

Coach Leonard Hamilton takes on Florida State turning them into a great team these past 4 years he has been there. He had a record in 05-06 of 20-10, but really has improved his work on getting those loses down. He has been coaching for 18 years overall and has been in the NCAA tournament with a record of 3-3. Making his team strong they are national ranked 17th and division ranked 3rd. With some tough games a head the season could come down to how fare they play.

Al Skinner coach of
Boston College has been with them for 9 years, with an overall record of
313-234. He has taken his team to the NCAA tournament and led them with
a record of 6-7. National ranked 19th in the 06-07 season and
4th in the Atlantic Coast division. Coach Skinner hopes to
have the eagles see more NCAA tournaments.

Yellow Jackets head coach Paul Hewitt has taken on the challenge for 6 seasons now, and many more to come. With a 173-110 overall record, and 6-4 in the NCAA tournament coach says last years program in the 05-06 season was the worst team since 1997.Hewitt says the Yellow Jackets were immature and failed at times to complete. He also says, that will never happen again.

Dave Leitau one year in with the Cavaliers, on his second in the 06-07 season. Four years total coaching and has a NCAA record of 1-1. The fighting Cavs were 2-11 last year and had a rough season. Not, having a great start so far with the orange and blue says many of the team players on the Cavaliers. Virginia’s lack of experience hurt the team, but Coach Leitau hopes to turn that around.
