Mest was formed in 1996 in Blue Island, Illinois, which is just outside of Chicago. The first album they released was Mo Money Mo 40z. This was a self-released CD. John Feldman has heard this CD and he liked it. He decided to let them tour with his band, Goldfinger. He also got them signed to the record label Maverick and he became their producer.

In 2006, Mest broke-up. They decided to break-up just because they have had enough with their band and they weren't getting anywhere. They have decided to go separate ways. Tony is now in a new band called A Permanent Holiday. Nick is in a rap group called The Diner's Club. Matt is currently a father. Jeremiah hopes to write scripts for films. We will miss Mest dearly. |
