It is the tallest building in New York City. Also, at night when the whole city lights up, this building has red, white, and blue lights at the top.

The Statue of Liberty is in New York City. This is a symbol of our freedom. When immigrants first came to America, this was the first thing they saw. This statue was a gift from France. It is made of Copper, but it is green because of being weathered. This statue symbolizes a lot.

Most people in New York City like to ice skate. The most common place visited by ice skaters is Rockefeller Center. It is a big ice skating rink. Not only is it an ice skating rink, but it has a restaurant too! Also, around the holidays, they put up a big Christmas tree right by the skating rink. Rockefeller Center is a great place to go if you enjoy ice skating.

The biggest toy store in the United States is in New York City! Toys R Us is a huge place in New York City. It even has a Ferris wheel! The Ferris wheel consists of fourteen themed cabs. Toys R us is located on the corner of Broadway and 44th street. This place is so big, not only does it have toys, but it has its own little souvenir shop. There are also different sections for different toys!

September eleventh was a very tragic day. This event happened in New York City. The site where it happened is a big empty lot now. There is a memorial on the fences that fence this lot in. The memorial states who died and basically what happened on that tragic day. New York City is home to the World Trade Center Site.
