      The world golf ranking’s is where a Professional golfer is ranked in the world. The number one ranked golfer in the world is Tiger Woods. In 2006 Woods played in 15 tournaments, winning 11 tournaments. Two out of the 11 he won were Majors (British Open, and PGA Championship). Tiger is ranked 8th in the FedEx Cup points standings with 4,500 points. Tiger has made more than 66 million dollars over his career just in tournaments. Woods is perhaps the best golfer ever.

 

 

        Phil Mickelson is ranked 3rd in the world as a golfer. Mickelson played in 19th tournaments last year. Mickelson won 2(BellSouth Classic, and the Masters), but finishing in the top 25 fourteen times. Phil has won one event so far this year, (AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am) and has finished 2nd in the Nissan Open. Mickelson is ranked 2nd in the FedEx Cup points standings with 7,337 points. Mickelson has made over 41 million dollars in his career in just tournaments.

 

        Sergio Garcia is ranked 11th in the world in golf. Garcia played in 17 tournaments last season. Sergio finished in the top 10 five times. Garcia is ranked 56th in the FedEx Cup points standings with 900 points. Sergio finished 6th in the Nissan Open at -11 under par. Sergio has made over 16 million dollars in his career in just tournaments.

 

        Vijay Singh is ranked 6th in the world as a golfer. Vijay played in 27 tournaments last year. Singh won only 1 but had 13 top 10 finishes. Vijay is ranked 3rd in the FedEx Cup Standings. Singh finished 1st in the Mercedes-Benz Championship at -15 under par.
