In Guitar Hero 2 they got new characters and they made the grim ripper look better. The characters look a lot better and they have better costumes. They also have good unlock able costumes. They brought in one new character that you can play in the beginning. I personally like the Grim Ripper.

There are tons of new songs in Guitar Hero 2. My favorite is shout at the devil by Motley crue. There are great songs like you Really got me , Madhouse, Sweet child o' mine, and Beast and the Harlot. There are great bands of old and new.

 

The types of songs in Guitar Hero 2 have changed to the 80's and 90's and it's all metal. The new character lars umlaut shows off his heavy metal proudness. The game has brought in some new band and they sound heavy enough. This game focuses on the heavy metal part of rock and Psychobilly Freakout is the fastest song ever

The new venues in Guitar Hero 2 are amazing graphically and what ever else. It goes from a high school gym to stonehenge. The environment reacts with how well you are playing. The venues change throughout the years.

The multiplayer in Guitar Hero 2 is awesome. The co-op is great you can choose to play electric or bass Guitar. The eletric Guitar has all the lead playing. The bass Guitar has just any of the bass notes.

The best bonus song in Guitar Hero 2 is Trogdor. The bonus songs cost money but most of the songs are worth it. You can only get money on Medium, Hard,  and Expert. The songs are some what easy but by bands you don't really hear about.
