Montmartre is located on the biggest hill in Paris. It is often the
place where artists, actors and singers of Paris make their home. The
crowning glory of Montmartre is the basilica of Sacré Coeur. The Sacré
Coeur is a beautiful church that seems to be watching over Paris. |

Just
20 miles east of Paris, there lays Euro Disneyland. This five-themed
park was inspired by California’s Magic Kingdom. The park opened in
1992. Since the park is 99 acres, it is divided into 5 themes: Main
Street USA, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland.
Main Street USA is an evocation of small-town American. Frontierland is
based off of the Wild West. Adventureland was inspired by children’s
adventure movies & their characters. Some characters are Peter Pan &
Captain Hook. One of the star attractions of Adventureland is The
Pirates of the Caribbean. There you will find an old ship with life
sized robots singing medleys from the movie. Fantasyland is where you
should take the children because there you will find attractions
dedicated to children’s fantasy tales like Snow White and Pinocchio.
Last is Discoveryland. Discoveryland is devoted to the future. People
who love science will find fun here. I highly recommend Euro Disneyland.

Some of the bridges lead to the Ile De la Cité and the Ile Saint Louis

and in the heart of Paris. The Seine River is a well known & beautiful
river in Paris.

The
famous Notre Dame Cathedral is located on the Ile de la Cité. This
beautiful old church was started more than 800 years ago. People say
that the gargoyle faces on the end of the rainspouts whisper “gargar”
when rain spurts out of their mouths. In this very cathedral, emperors
were crowned & royal Crusaders were blessed. This cathedral is very old,
but will always stay alive. |
