Johnny the Homicidal Maniac Johnny C. is the main character of JTHM. Most people that encounter him, and manage to survive call him Nny. [Pronounced “knee”] There isn’t a lot known about Nny’s past, except for the fact that his parents were killed by a nasty man. This may or may not have lead to Nny’s life as a “Masked Crime Fighter”. Nny is really more of his own enemy than any external mind or force, really. |
| Nny resides in a Los Angeles suburban Neighborhood in house Number 777, ironically. At One point in the story, He is asked about this, seeing as 777 is supposed to be the # for Heaven. To this he replies “ Does this look like heaven to you?” Nny also has 'compainons'; the doughboys :Mr. Eff, and Psycodoughboy, as well as Nailbunny. |

The Doughboys Ah, the doughboys. Two Styrofoam Pillsbury doughboys, who got gruesome , and yet wicked Makeovers from Nny. They seem to be manifestations of Nny’s insanity at first, but later are revealed to be controlled by “the Thing” in the wall. Psycodoughboy, usually referred to as D-boy, is the the one that is filled with Rabid Despair and doom![yes, Doom!] His Voice is much stronger during the times at which Nny is depressed, and he is usually the one to try and convince Nny that he should commit suicide. Mr., on the other hand, is the one who enjoys Nny’s growing insanity, and would like to exist on his own, instead of having to live off Nny’s mind, and “The Thing” |

Devi D. There are a few People that have “escaped” Nnys clutches. Todd Casil, and Devi D. Devi was a girl that Nny went on a date with once, and then attempted to kill. At first, they just had pleasant conversations at the Book store that she worked at. But then They went on a date. When they got back to Nny’s house, everything was going Great, until Mr. Eff told Nny to “Capture the Moment” and Kill Devi. When Nny attempted this, Devi Totally beat him to a bloody pulp. |

Nailbunny was a rabbit, that Nny bought from a pet store, took home, fed once, and then Nailed to the wall.(thus His Name). He seems to be more of Nny's conscience than anything. In one issue, one of the doughboys rips off Nailbunny's Head. After this, you see Nailbunny's head floating in midair, giving Nny advice, or when Nny feels bad. |
