Hockey is a fast, exciting, and very interesting sport.  The game consists of two teams.  Five players from each team and a goalie are on the ice. There are penalties, which are when a player does something wrong and has to get off the ice. In hockey it is very physical.  Players hit each other head, there is many collisions. The NHL stands for National Hockey League.  There are playoffs with elimination rounds and the championship is played for a trophy called the Stanley Cup.  The NHL is built with the best and finest players in the nation. At the end of every season there is a draft where new players are assigned to a new team. I am now going to tell you about some players and goalies in the NHL.
