Tennis is a unique game unlike any other. It can be played one against one or two against two.  In tennis you use a racquet to hit a ball over the net until one person misses the ball, hits it in the net, or hits it out.  The other person wins a point. In tennis you need four points to win a game but the points aren’t called 1, 2, 3, and 4, they are called 15, 30, 40, and game.  You have to win a game by two points but if it goes to 40, 40 it is called deuce and you play until someone gets up by two points.  You need six games to win a set.  You must also win a set by two.  If it goes to five all, then you can win seven to five, but if it goes to six all, you play a tiebreaker to seven win by two.  In women’s tennis it takes two sets to win a match, and in men’s it takes three.  After every odd numbered game you switch sides, and you switch  serve after every game.  On the serve you must you must serve to the service box on the opposite side of the court.  The top of each box is about halfway up the court and each one is half the court wide.  In tennis there are many strokes including forehand and backhand topspin, forehand and backhand slice, forehand and backhand volleys, and overheads.   The four main professional tournaments, known as the grand slams, are the Australian Open, the French Open, The U.S. Open, and, the most prestigious, Wimbledon.  From the scoring to the playing field to the strokes tennis is different than any other game
