Donald Young is a left-handed, seventeen year old from Atlanta. He is No. 8 in the ITF junior rankings. Donald comments that his proudest accomplishment was finishing No.1 in the world among the juniors last year. He claims that it was even harder staying No.1 with everyone targeting him throughout the entire year. In five years Donald hopes to have won a Grand Slam and be among the top ten professional players in the world.

Chelsey Gullickson grew up in a big family with four other sisters and a brother. With a sister already on tour and a former major league pitcher for a father, athletes are not in short supply with her family. Chelsey came up big in a trip to a huge junior event in Australia, just after the close death of her dad. She is a great young player that has been described as one who would easily go pro but she quotes, ” I don’t want to turn pro too early and just regret it.” |

Brennan Boyajian won the 16s at the Easter Bowl, the Clay Courts, and Kalamazoo. Brennan is a quick teen, with great hands at the net. He claims that growing older and stronger has made him better mentally and physically. Brennan is playing smarter on court and keeping his cool when frustrated. His endurance has increased allowing him to withstand multiple match points at Kalamazoo. Brennan aspires to play on a top college tennis team, then maybe go pro.

Anastasia Pavlychenkova is a teenager from Samara, Russia. In January, Anastasia walked away holding all three major ITF junior tournament wins in Australia. She then added two other junior Slam doubles titles to her impressive collection. The very same summer Anastasia was runner up at the junior Roland Garross. She played World Team Tennis at fifteen and recently brought home a win at the junior U.S. Open.

Michael McClune is seventeen years old and grew up in southern California. At the age of twelve, Michael toke a break from tournaments for a year and incorporated a one-handed backhand into his game play. He returned to tennis greater and stronger than ever. Michael was still attending high school in the fall of 2005 and had not yet made a name for himself on the Pro Circuit tour or the ITF Junior tour. Shortly after the start of school, Michael made it to the semi-finals of McAllen. |

Seventeen year old, Reka Zsilinszka, grew up in Slovakia, and when she turned seven her and he parents moved to Fayetteville, NC. Reka is the top ranked player in the USTA 18s, even without a formal tennis coach. She is home schooled and her education is priority. With extraordinary SAT scores, Reka considered some Ivey league school but then settled on Duke to receive her college education.

Wil Spencer is a seventeen year old, highly ranked kid, from Ponce de Leon, Florida. His sister urged him to pick up a tennis racket when he was ten years old. Within four years, Wil had won a national doubles title and achieved the title of top ranking fourteen year old in Florida. Just last year, he joined the Junior Davis Cup Team at the last moment and returned to Florida with four wins in singles. One of Wil’s coaches, Wolf von Lindenau, claims that, “His ability to move and his determination are by far his greatest strengths.” |

Aeriel Ellis is a sixteen year old junior in high school. She resides in Hayward, California with her family. Aeriel is currently ranked No. 8 in the USTA 16s. She endures a rigorous practice schedule and often hit with her nationally ranked brother, Aaron.
