In the 70’s the Pittsburgh Pirates were on fire in MLB, winning two amazing World Series. However, since then it has felt like a drought. They have had only one appearance in post-season play, in 1992. However, the franchise has still been exciting to follow and watch. Since the beginning of the 70’s the Pirates have had three different homes, having recruited and played some of the leagues finest players and have hosted the All-Star game twice. Some folks say that with such an amazing background and a major rebuilding the Pirates are poised for a return to greatness.
