Italy

Rome has many famous structures.  They still have a large, rocky structure built by the Romans about a thousand years ago.  There is also the colleseum.  There is also a big, tall structure with a statue sitting on top.  It also has a lot of designs in the long structure.  This was done back then without any tools.  It was all done by hand.

There is also the Vatican.  The Vatican is where the pope lives.  There is a big waterfall right in front of it.  There are a lot of people that go to Rome just to see the Vatican.  In the future I might want to go down there to see the Vatican.

Rome has excellent food!  They have a steak there that looks like it is raw.  It actually looks really gross.  I’ve heard that it is really good though.  The ice-cream there is amazing too.  They call the ice-cream there gelati.  For example, if you have gotten gelati from Italian’s ice, Italy is where they got the name gelati from.  They have ice-cream with oranges in it, which is supposedly great!

Rome is the capital of Italy.  Italy has a population of 57.5 million people.  Most of the homes are urban.  That means it is cities and everything.  Its official language is Italian.

Rome has a huge religious area.  Rome has a ton of people go to church.  There most used religion is Roman Catholic.  About eighty-three percent used Roman Catholic.  The other seventeen percent were either non-religious or atheist and one percent of people used other religions.  Rome would be a fantastic place to visit.
