Anime is a Japanese animation art. It varies much different from American cartoons because it uses a certain form of emotions called chibi. With chibi, the cartoon characters may have lines under their eyes or have their head get huge. Anime is also different from American comics because it has comics called manga of which use the Japanese style of reading, backwards.
