Yusuke Urameshi is nothing more than a street fighting trouble maker with a typical tough guy attitude to everything. Yusuke's mother Atsuko, who is an alcoholic, shows little interest in raising her son. He has a his own seat in the guidance counselor's office, and every single punk in the city is trying to take him on in fights. Yusuke really does not care about life. However, no one expects a sudden act of being a hero on his part, of which he dies trying to save a little boy from a speeding car. When he arrives in the afterlife, he is informed that no one was expecting him to die that way, and were not ready for his arriving. After numerous tests to see his worth, Yusuke is eventually revived and is assigned to work for the Spirit Realm as a detective investigating demonic cases in the human world. He comes into spiritual abilities of his own, and gets the help of many friends from Reikai (spirit world), Makai (demon world), and Ningenkai (human world) to aid him in his investigations, and fight off demons and humans seeking to rule all three worlds.

One Piece is about a guy named Luffy, who wants to be king of the pirates by searching for a treasure in the Grand Line called One Piece. Luffy is a normal boy, but is cursed. This curse came because he ate the cursed Gum-Gum fruit. With this power, he can stretch his body far like a rubber man. He then starts looking for crew members and comes across his friend Roronoa Zolo, who is a swordsman of a technique called Santoryu, of which he wields three swords at a time. The next person to join his crew is Nami, who is a thieve and a navigator. After going to a village to stop, he comes upon a guy named Usopp to join his crew. He then finds a cook by the name of Sonji, of which uses different types of kicking attacks. The person of the crew is Chopper, a reindeer of which walks on two legs, talks, and can turn into a half man, half reindeer because he ate a cursed fruit called the Human-Human fruit. They then set sail for One Piece, but soon find out they get caught up in other trouble.

Twelve years ago the hidden leaf village of Konoha was attacked by a giant demon fox with nine tails. The battle had been fought for a long time, until when Yondaime, the most powerful ninja in all of Konoha, finally managed to seal the Nine-tailed demon fox inside a baby boy, Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto never knew his parents so he was rebelious and unruly. The show follows Naruto and his comrades, Sasuke and Sakura as he tries to show the people around him that he can become the next Hokage of Konoha village.

Yu-Gi-Oh tells the story of a boy named Yugi Mutou, who becomes involved in a game called Duel Monsters. It all started when his grandpa Solomon, got the game of Duel Monsters in his toy shop. Yugi then, learned the game in which later enters a tournament to see who the best duelist is. While on his journey to becoming the best duelist, he is accompanied by his friends Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, and Tea Gardner, of which also duel and give Yugi hope and support of winning duels. The main reason Yugi enters the tournament is because the guy who runs it, Pegasus, stole Solomon’s soul so Yugi must beat him in order to get his grandpa back.
