Chihuahuas originated from the country of Mexico. They are a toy breed. Their life span is usually about 12 to 17 years. They range at about six to nine pounds. Their most common known health problem is heart problems and Luxating Patella’s (knee-caps that slip out of place), and early tooth loss. Their best home is inside as a companion to humans.
