University of Michigan’s football program is one of the oldest and greatest.  It originated in the year 1879.  The Michigan Program has the most overall wins and the greatest winning percentage.  Their over all wins are 849 and there overall number of losses are 280.  Its home field is in Ann Arbor, it is called the big house.  It has the NCAA stadium record for the most people in the stands.  In some cases it has held up to 113,000 people.  There current coach is Lloyd Carr.  Over the Years, Michigan has been powerful in their offense and defense.
