Hands down the most successful band of all time! They got their start around England in the early 1960’s. After achieving huge success by 1963, they made there way “across the pond” to conquer America on February 9, 1964. It was in that year the full-fledged Beatlemania was born.

Throughout the 60’s The Beatles had 27 number 1 hits, 3 feature films, and countless number of memorabilia. The Beatles also hold the title of an “Unbreakable Record”, which is when they had all top 5 slots on the music charts. The songs were: 1: Twist and Shout, 2: Can’t Buy Me Love, 3: She Loves You, 4: I Want To Hold Your Hand, 5: Please Please Me.

It’s hard to define all the success that The Beatles had in the 1960’s. The fact is, it didn’t stop in the there, it has been strong for 43 years now, even though The Beatles officially broke up in 1970. Beatlemania was born in 1964, but it never really went away, and I truly don’t think it ever will! |
