They were popular throughout the whole decade. Big poofy, curly hair was also very popular. Many people colored their hair with different colors, or sometimes multi-colored. Also teasing your hair was very poplular. Some people wore their hair short and spiky.

Popular clothes in the 80s were leggings, leg warmers, skinny jeans, Big shirts that were long with different patterns and cold colors. Big T-shirts with one side hanging off the shoulder was popular too. It was also popular to peg your jeans. Clothes in the 80’s had different patterns or were very bright colors. People would wear their leggings and leg warmers together usually with skirts. Long shirts could be worn with belts around the stomach to add detail. Stripes and polka dots were the usual patterns for shirts.

They could be thin, thick, colored black, and someitmes they even had things on them. Belts would be worn around the stomach or waste over top of their shirts. They could be big and fat or small and skinny.
