Ryan Atwood- Ryan is a boy who gets in a lot of trouble, but has a good heart. He’s a high school boy who’s very tough but sometimes takes his strength to too high of a level. Ryan’s friends are the world to him and Ryan means the world to his friends.

Seth Coen-Seth is a timid high school boy who’s life doesn’t kick off to its fullest until Ryan Atwood comes along. Seth has a love for comic books and spends time designing comic book heroes. He loves video games but what he loves most of all is his family and friends.

Sandy Coen-Sandy is a warm-hearted family guy who knows how to bring out the best in people. He is a high paid lawyer who takes his job very seriously. But what he takes even more seriously is being a good father to Seth, to his adopted son Ryan, and a good husband to his wife Kirsten.

Kirsten Coen-Kirsten works for her father in house development and sometimes gets very stressed out. For the most part though, Kirsten is a very good mother and cares a lot about her family.

Marissa Cooper-Marissa is a glamorous high school girl with an open mind. Marissa has an on-off relationship with Ryan Atwood, but is still very involved with charity and school work. Marissa has a hard time getting along with her family, but has a great relationship with her friends.

Summer Roberts-Summer is an up-beat, cheery, fashionable high school girl. Summer is best friends with Marissa and has an on-off relationship with Seth Coen. Summer is very involved with boys and for the most part is a very happy person.

Julie Cooper-Julie is a wealthy woman who works with Kirsten Coen in house development. She is sometimes looked upon as the “villain” of the neighborhood because she can be very selfish, demanding, and does not do a very good job at being a mother to her daughter Marissa Cooper.

Jimmy Cooper-Jimmy is the ex-husband of Julie Cooper and changes jobs very often. Jimmy is very friendly and is a wonderful dad to his daughter Marissa.

Caleb Nichol-Cal is a very wealthy man who owns a house development business. He develops an unusual marriage with the much younger Julie Cooper. Cal is the father of Kirsten Coen and can be a very ignorant man.

Luke Ward-Luke is a high school boy who has a very troubled life. He is the ex-boyfriend of Marissa Cooper and still cares about her very much. Luke starts off being a bully because of insecurities but eases his way into becoming a kind boy.
