Major League Baseball is an awesome sport. There are 9 fielders on the field at a time. There is a first baseman, second baseman, shortstop, third baseman, three outfielders & a pitcher. There is 9 innings in a game of baseball. You need 3 outs to get up to bat. There are 2 leagues in the MLB the American League or AL and the National League or NL.  The AL has a designated hitter or DH, but the NL does not. There are 30 teams in the MLB. There are many stars in baseball some have World Series Rings others do not.
