Nick Lachey was in a former band 98ºwith his brother, Drew Lachey, and close friends. They were a very successful band. During one of their road trips, Nick met Jessica. From there, they got married and now they are divorced.

| Everything was going well until they both started traveling. While they were gone, the tabloids say that Nick was cheating on Jessica and Jessica was cheating on Nick. They both confronted each other about it and they both denied the rumors |

With all the cameras and all the rumors they started to drift apart. The rumors then became reality for them. And then it went downhill from there.

| Jessica called the divorce. Even though they divorced, they both claim “There were not two people more in love than us.” Nick said the divorce was the right thing to do. They were constantly fighting and they were getting tired of it. |

Although it was the right thing to do doesn’t mean there wasn’t pain and tears. Nick recorded an album called What’s Left of Me. To him this CD was therapeutic. He said that he let out undiscovered emotions.

In his album, there were intense songs with a powerful story behind it. It might have been hard reliving his pain, but that made him a very successful artist.

Nick Lachey says “Don’t feel sorry for me. I have a great life.” He now has a new passion and it is to make the internet safer for teenagers. He also has words to live by: “Life is a marathon, if you’re accountable and true to yourself and the best person you can be you’ll never finish last”
