Lc- Lauren Conrad also known as Lc a senior during filming was the narrator in the shows first season. The story line centered on her relationship with fellow co-star and long-time best friend, Stephen Colleti, and a love triangle with Kristin Cavalleri. Lauren also appeared on the second season of the show, but narrating duties were passed on to Cavalleri. In that season, Lauren's storyline focused on her dating Jason Wahler. After 2 seasons she went to fashion school and had a chow called the Hills. The show was about her going to school in the Hollywood Hills with Jason and roommate Heidi.

Kristin- Kristin moved to Laguna in her sophomore year coming from Chicago. In the first season she was just another character except that she was the, “mean girl” and started a lot of drama between Lc and Stephen. She then went on to narrate the show during the second season. She is very outspoken and doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

Stephen- Stephen was a senior during filming and was one of the main characters. He was into surfing skateboarding and of coarse the infamous, “Love Triangle” between his girlfriend Kristin and longtime best-friend Lc. He was a big part of the show and was seen in season 2 in going away to school to San Francisco with Lc.

| Jason- Jason is Laguna’s bad boy and was shown in season 2 as Jessica’s boyfriend. He is always playing baseball and when he broke up with Jessica he started to go out with Lc, but when Lc saw him kissing his ex-girlfriend Jessica at a benefit show they broke up. Then of coarse they were back together in the show,” the Hills. |

Trey- Trey has been friends with fellow cast member Stephen since they
were both toddlers. He is passionate about politics and activism. Season
1 showed Trey promoting his charity, Active Young Americans, and holding
fashion shows to raise money for charity causes. |

Morgan-With her best-friend Christina, she was a cast member in Season 1, and appeared in a few episodes in Season 2. Morgan was imaged as the "good girl.” Morgan was new to the school during her senior year and made friends really fast. She and Christina became extremely close during the filming of Season 1.

Talan- A junior during filming had professed his love for Taylor he still hooked up with Kristin throughout the season. After he left the show he was engaged to Kimberly Stewert but they ended up breaking up.
